Update on Shipping of Rewards

Dear Yozobo Fan, 


Many thanks for your continued patience, as you wait for your Yozobo drink order. All the products are currently with our fulfilment partner, and we anticipate that shipping for UK orders will start to go out this coming week commencing the 5th of July 2021. Please watch out for deliveries, and within the next few days, we will give you an update as to when we think it might arrive at your door. Deliveries within the UK should arrive within a few days after they are sent, and we will try to advise you on the precise date they might likely arrive. So watch your email this week.


For deliveries outside of the UK, we will commence shipping by the week commencing the 12th of July 2021 and will advise on the estimated delivery time per country. 


We will also be sending you a survey later on to match the period you receive your drink. We grow through feedback and will encourage you to take out a few minutes to shape our future by responding to the survey when you get it. 


Thank you again for your continued support, which is invaluable. Without you, we will not be here, and we can't wait to get your rewards to you.

Good News! Our first production run is now complete.

We have great news for you! Our first production run is now complete, and we have successfully bottled the much-awaited Yozobo Original Wellness Drink. This is a huge milestone, and there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure everything comes together. It's also good news, as we will start working through our logistics puzzle to ensure we fulfil your orders.


It all began in the early morning hours of the 31st of May 2021. It was a national holiday here in the UK, but we were out very early morning at the factory, having spent the night before, putting the final details together, and ofcourse, taking the last-minute purchase of boxes to the factory. COVID-19 has brought a number of challenges to the supply chain, but we spent a lot of time trying to navigate through this, securing supplies at a reasonable cost, quality, and time always (some of the most challenging issues during the COVID-19 era).


The day started with a tasting session, and at a point, we had about five people from various demographics tasting various adjustments to the flavour as we tried to fine-tune the optimal taste of the drink. After about 2-3 hours of this, and making adjustments, we all agreed to a final combination for scale-up. We then started trying a few experimental ideas with a small batch for future runs, which you will come to see soon over the course of 2021.


Like most scale-up opportunities, we were not left without unexpected, and unplanned hiccups, changes to design intent, and workarounds. At several points, we had to think on our feet. The good news, however, was that we were able to make all the necessary process changes to achieve the best-desired outcomes. Our target was to achieve 90% of our intended production capacity, but we had a few losses and were able to achieve about 60% of the target capacity, which is more than enough for our Backers. Our first recipe is full of richness, and some drinks may experience minor settling when kept standing for a while. Simply shake properly to get the best of the goodness.


In the meantime, we had earlier sent out a survey on Backerkit to get the addresses of our Backers and to complete payments for shipping and packaging. We have a few days left to lock the orders, and I would encourage everyone who has got the survey to complete it as soon as possible. We are still carrying on further R&D to make minor changes and variants for the future, so watch the space. For now, for those who have backed us, enjoy your Yozobo, as soon as you get it. And most importantly, we would love your feedback. You are very much with us in shaping the future of this drink, and we take your input and feedback seriously. So when we come round to asking for feedback, please take the time to stamp your views.

BackerKit surveys are coming!

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfil your rewards.


You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.  We'll encourage you to purchase an add-on as this is one sure way to save on shipping, as we have put in a near-flat rate on the shipping costs, so the more you order, the more you save. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!


After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.


If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at  https://yozobo.backerkit.com.
